Homeschooled students, who placed in the top three places from the Huntsville, Birmingham and Mobile District Homeschool Spelling Bees, will compete for the top spot for homeschoolers at the Scripps State Spelling Bee.  SMICA's Abigail Ferrell, the first place finisher at the Birmingham district will be competing for the top spot to represent homeschooled students statewide.

Great opportunity for Homeschool parents and children to come learn what all the excitement is about.  EXCELLENT adjunct to language arts study, the Scripps-Howard National Spelling Bee is for 4th-8th graders nationwide.

Please be early to get settled since the Bee will start at 2pm.
